Protecting animals on social media

When you’re scrolling on Facebook or Instagram, it can be hard to resist cute photos or videos of animals.

Forcing wild animals to perform human-like behaviours is not only harmful to their safety and wellbeing, sharing these photos and videos of animals on social media can have other negative impacts on exotic animals.

Zara Bending from Macquarie University joins Breakfast‘s Bonnie Parker to discuss more about these impacts and what we can do to ensure animals are protected.
