On This Day;

In 1979, a commission of scientists declared that smallpox had been eradicated. The disease, which carries around a 30% chance of death, is the only infectious disease afflicting humans that has officially been eradicated.

On December 8th, 2019, Jarrad Anthony Higgins, American rapper, singer and songwriter known professionally as “Juice Wrld” passed away at the age of 21 after experiencing a medical emergency in a Chicago airport.
