Posted on: Mon 25 Nov 2019

1900 prisoners sentenced to less than three years in jail will have their voting rights restored in New Zealand.

Enacted by Justice Minister Andrew Little, the law will return to how it was before 2010 when voting rights were removed from all prisoners.

95bFM’s Oscar Perress joins Breakfast’s Zoe Kounadis and Tom Mann to discuss this and other news from across the Tasman.
