Confessions at the Pub

Posted on: Sun 17 Nov 2019

Jess and Isaac have taken a bold step – they’re going back in time to when they faced coming out to friends, peers and family.

With Hebe playing Jess’s role, they are retelling their stories in Confessions at the Pub for Feast Festival.

“It’s an honest retelling of journal entries of a messed up teenager and going through some pretty tough times and we portray them on stage,” Isaac tells presenter Tara Nash.

“Even though the world has progressed and we are more accepting of race, sexuality, everything, I’m sure it still happens and people need to be reminded that it still happens.”
