ACCC Sues Google for Privacy Breach

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission announced last week that they’re suing Google for misleading its users about the collection and use of location data.

This is the consumer watchdog’s first major move against a major digital platform following regulators in countries like the US and Germany; but what exactly has Google done wrong?

Katharine Kemp, Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of New South Wales joins Breakfast’s Zoe Kounadis and Tom Mann to explain.
