1 in 5 Aussies have experienced food insecurity

In the last year, more than one in five Australians have been in a situation where they have run out of food and been unable to buy more, according to figures in Foodbank Australia’s latest Hunger Report 2019.
Greg Pattinson, CEO at Foodbank South Australia, who describes the experiences captured in the report, and how they echo what he and his team are seeing on the ground at their food hub in Edwardstown.
