Government Trigger-Happy with Anti-Terror Laws

Recently, Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton introduced stronger anti-terrorism laws targeting the citizenship of dual nationals convicted of terror-related offences.

Many believe Australia is becoming overzealous with their anti-terror law-making as a reaction to terrorism overseas, but are tougher laws making any difference?

Nicola McGarrity, Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of New South Wales Sydney joins Breakfast’s Zoe Kounadis and Tom Mann to discuss the new bill.
