Kicking overs for Australia

It’s every boys dream to represent their country in sport, and when it comes true at the age of 39… well, it’s a long dream come true!

For Ben Newberry, representing Australia in Gaelic Football couldn’t have been further from his mind, but with a bit of Irish luck he landed himself in the Australasian Gaelic Football team playing in the World Games in Ireland.

Leaving his wife, two kids, a half renovated house and a successful printing business, Ben travelled to Ireland to kick overs for Australia. Here’s how it all came about…
