If you get your period, you know the pain associated can be annoying, inconvenient or even debilitating.

New research has shown that period pain is having enormous effects on productivity for people in their work and school lives. Instead of just pushing through during period pain, how can breaking down period taboo improve effective healthcare on the matter?

Dr Christina Curry, Lecturer in Health & Physical Education at Western Sydney University, joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to discuss the impact period pain has on productivity and how to start talking about it.
