Today is the birthday of the South African technology entrepreneur and engineer Elon Musk.

Considered an eccentric by many, Musk is known for being the co-founder and investor of a number of tech companies. For example, SpaceX, an aerospace company with the ambitious goals of reducing the costs of space transportation and colonising Mars.
