The impact of the Indonesian election

Results from Wednesday’s Indonesian General Elections wont be released until May 22, but early results from private polling groups suggest that Indonesia’s President Joko Widodo looks poised to win another five years in office by a convincing margin.

Breakfast’s Zoe Kounadis spoke with Tim Lindsey, Malcolm Smith Professor of Asian Law and Director of the Centre for Indonesian Law, Islam and Society at the University of Melbourne to discuss the elections and the impact on the region.
