The Effects of Luxury Tourism

Kangaroo Island is one of Australia’s hidden jewels. and now the getaway is becoming one of the country’s more popular tourist destinations. However, as the demand for tourism increases, new developments are planned which may threaten the natural beauty of the island.

Freya Higgins-Desbiolles, senior lecturer in tourism management from the University of South Australia joined Bonnie Parker on Breakfast to discuss the issue.
