Cycling without age trishaw program

Posted on: Sat 2 Mar 2019

Staying connected to our community is important for wellbeing and is being made easier for people with disabilities by South Australia’s first Cycling Without Age Trishaw Program.

LHI Retirement Services has introduced the program with the help of SA government funding. The custom-made trishaws are piloted by volunteers who take passengers on rides around the neighbourhood. Passengers say it’s a really fun experience!

Roundabout‘s Helen Wilson chats to Kortin Norris, Volunteers Manager at LHI, about the program.

If you’re interested in becoming a Volunteer Trishaw Pilot, contact Kortin Norris on 8336 0109.
