In 1982, Richard Skrenta wrote the first PC virus code, which is 400 lines long and disguised as an Apple boot program called “Elk Cloner”.

In 1931, Australian-American novelist, short story writer and essayist Shirley Hazzard was born in Australia.

In 2006, the Arctic Monkeys went to No.1 on the UK album chart with their debut album ‘Whatever People Say I Am That’s What I’m Not’.
