Boogie at the Dance Room on Henley Square

Posted on: Sun 27 Jan 2019

People of all ages are flocking to The Dance Room on Henley Square every Tuesday at 6 o’clock to boogie, rap or shimmy as the sun sets on another summer’s day in Adelaide. It’s family friendly and people of all ages are there having a great time!

Sarah Maddock, Place Leader, from the City of Charles Sturt chats to The Boardwalk‘s Nora Robinson and Gillian Anderson about other fun events happening at Henley Square over summer, including the Henley Market.

Sarah also tells us about a great initiative from the Council to provide access to the beach for people who find it difficult to walk through sand or who are in a wheelchair. The Council hires out – for free – wheelchairs that can go into the water. If you’d like to find out more about beach mats or hire a wheelchair contact the council.
