On This Day;

In 1978, Sweden banned aerosol sprays due to environmental concerns.

In 1989, Spanish painter Salvador Dalí died of heart failure at 84 years of age.

In 1986, the Rock Hall of Fame welcomed its first wave of inductees. The group included Ray Charles, James Brown, and Elvis Presley.
