Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs Marise Payne has announced efforts to strengthen Australia’s involvement in the Indian Ocean Region, with an infrastructure program in South Asia. With China taking up so much of Australia’s geopolitical thought, what advantages are there to shifting our focus to the IOR?
