Ben McKelvey: The Cameron Baird Story

Corporal Cameron Stewart Baird VC MG first joined the Australian Army on 4 January 2000 and demonstrated an early aptitude for soldiering.  Sadly he was killed whilst on deployment to Afghanistan in 2013.  But Cameron left an exemplary legacy as proven with the posthumously awarded Australian Victoria Cross. Author Ben McKelvey researched Cameron’s life and shares his findings with us in today’s broadcast.
