Ron Hazel: Dad & HMAS Hobart

Posted on: Mon 26 Nov 2018

We caught up with Ron and Dianne Hazel at the Barmera RSL on Remembrance Day 2018.  Ron’s Dad had served a number of terms as President there, and we look at his background in the Royal Australian Navy during World War Two, during which he saw active service aboard the Hobart, and was at the signing of the surrender of Japan.   Ron also tells about what his Dad did when he left the Navy after the war.
