Posted on: Wed 24 Oct 2018

It was reported last week that Environment Minister, Melissa Price, joked about Pacific nations being cash-hungry, to Anote Tong, former president of Kiribati, while at a dinner regarding climate change.

The comment was widely condemned and shows the lack of understanding the government seems to have in regards to the importance of our relationship with Pacific nations.
