Erin O’Donnell: Environmental Water Re-Allocation

Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack last week suggested that the government look at changing the law to allow water to be taken from the environment and given to farmers struggling with drought.

Whilst this seems like a straightforward solution to a dire problem, is it the right one?
