Crime Rates and Medical Marijuana

It’s that as many as 100,000 people are illegally using cannabis to treat medical problems.

People who oppose regulation of cannabis often point to its association with crime.  This association has been the subject of a comparative study.

Author of the study, Luke Chu, senior lecturer in the School of Economics and Finance at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand, joins Nick on Breakfast to talk about the study and the effects of medical marijuana.
