New Zealand government to increase refugee intake

During June this year New Zealand’s government decided it would increase the intake of refugees to fifteen hundred each year.

Although Prime minister and New Zealand’s First leader, Winston Peters has only agreed to allow an intake of one thousand a year.

New Zealand correspondent, Lachlan Balfour, from 95bFM joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann to discuss this and more news from across the Tasman.
