On This Day;

In 1894, Gandhi forms the Natal Indian Congress in order to fight discrimination against Indian traders in Natal, South Africa.

In 1986, “Stand By Me” film was released.

In 2004 “The Scream”, (1910 painted version) and “Madonna”, two paintings by Edvard Munch, are stolen from the Munch Museum in Oslo, Norway.

In 1974, Carole King released her single “Jazzman”.
