On this day in 1651 the worlds first commercial computer UNIVAC 1 was unveiled.

On this day in 1961 the UK started introducing Panda crossings to replace Zebra crossings.

On this day in 1961 George Alan O’Dowd was born. He would later be known as Boy George.
