Bills relief needed for high water usage

Posted on: Fri 1 Jun 2018

Pamela Kirkham OAM is a carer for her daughter Airlie, who is living with an Acquired Brain Injury.

The 24-hour care Airlie receives puts a high demand on utilities and while Pam, her husband and Airlie receive a rebate for their high energy use, there is no relief for water usage, which is three times the estimate for a three-person household.

Pam speaks with Small Change‘s Lisa Burns about the intensive, daily care Airlie receives, the demand this puts on utilities and how she looks after her own health and wellbeing.
