Families to be Split Apart by New US Border Policy

The Trump administration has announced they will be prosecuting every person who attempts to enter the US illegally. This could see children separated from their families, as their parents face imprisonment. The policy has been widely criticised, with concerns the children will suffer under the care of the government.

The NFL has banned kneeling in protest during the national anthem, a movement popularised by footballer Colin Kaepernick. The decision shows the power imbalance within the league between the majority African-American playing group and the white administration.
