Bababata: Duck on a Mission

Posted on: Mon 21 May 2018

Swahili is now spoken by 100 million people in Africa and is the mother tongue of Kadebe Mchwala, coordinator of the Karibu program, broadcast in Kiswahili every week on Radio Adelaide.

Kadebe joins the Monday Packed Lunch team, Nicky Page and Peter Burdon, to talk about Kiswahili, Bongo movies, his project to spread Swahili through his children’s counting books and a duck on a mission called Bababata.
