Central Australian Aboriginal Women’s Choir

Posted on: Fri 11 May 2018

In this week’s Anangu Lands Paper Tracker radio show, we’re going to be finding out about the Central Australian Aboriginal Women’s Choir. To find out more, we’re going to be talking with the Choir’s conductor, Mr Morris Stuart.

We’ll be asking Morris about how the Choir started and about the different adventures they’ve been on – including their trip to Germany and the making of a documentary film about the Choir called ‘Songkeepers’.

The program includes a song called ‘Godanya Nganampa Mayatja’ sung by the Central Australian Aboriginal Women’s Choir on their album, ‘Boomerang Tour 2015’.
