Driverless: What are the rules?

Driverless vehicles are in the spotlight after a woman in Arizona was struck and killed by an automated Uber travelling at 65 kilometres an hour as she was crossing the street.

Uber has now suspended its trial of driverless vehicles on public roads in North America. The incident has raised questions about how the automated industry should move forward here in Australia.
