Cambridge Analytica Implications

Details have emerged about the Cambridge Analytica scandal where the personal detail of 50 million users of Facebook were accessed through online personality tests.

Allegations as to how this information has been used and the impact of reporting has struck a major blow to Facebook.

Professor of Public Communication at University of Technology Sydney, Jim Macnamara, says that there is one simple rule, ‘Be careful what you publish and don’t publish data that you don’t want anyone to know’.

He joins Breakfast’s Tom and Casey to speak more about the impact of this leak.
