Intoxication – Adelaide Fringe

Posted on: Thu 22 Feb 2018

Intimacy is dead, and the makers of Intoxication are partying with its corpse. This post-dramatic patchwork about queer anxiety explores the fear of being alone in the Information Age.

Writer and star Christopher Bryant, and director Emma Palackic join Tom Jordan on Breakfast.

‘The play looks at the way we use such an alienated form like Grindr and Tinder apps,’ Director Emma Palackic said.

‘It makes a stark observation about how we use new technology and tools to search for intimacy and love.’

Produced by Nick Ward.
