According to Doctor Fiona Barlow, our whole body is connected in one way or another and diet and exercise impact not only our physical wellbeing but also our mental health. So we can all improve our mental heath through changes in what we eat and our level of activity.
Doctor Barlow, senior research fellow from the University of Queensland, talks about the ways we can make 2018 our year for better mental health.
She shares her insight on how exercise can help reduce depression and anxiety, and how stopping dieting can help improve body image. She also gives some reassuring information about broccoli!
