Rental affordability declines in Adelaide

The Rental Affordability Index is applied to geographic areas across the country and shows rental affordability relative to household incomes.
Since 2015, results of the index have been released each quarter and the latest figures, released last week, show that rental affordability is continuing to decline in Adelaide.
Dr Alice Clark, Executive Director of Shelter SA, explains how the index works and what it means for vulnerable South Australians.
