Australian Dance Theatre remembers Tanja Liedtke

Posted on: Mon 27 Nov 2017

The Australian Dance Theatre will honour the beloved dancer and choreographer, Tanja Liedtke, by presenting her work Construct for a return season in November and December.

August marked 10 years since Liedtke was killed in a road accident at the age of 29. She is remembered as a phenomenal talent and was adored by all who knew her.

Construct was created by Liedtke in 2006 and is regarded as one of her best works. Construct is an ‘extraordinarily complex piece, performed with great wit, clarity and emotion’.

Garry Stewart and Kristina Chan from the Australian Dance Company, join Tom Mann and Ian Newton to discuss Tanja Liedtke and her work.
