Statoil wants a Bight

BP and now Chevron have both abandoned plans to drill for oil in the Great Australian Bight. this has followed a commmunity campaign to highlight the dangers to the environment and livelihoods such an undertaking may incur. Norways Statoil is the latest contender to throw its rag in the ring. Peter Owen, director of The Wilderness Society South Australia spoke to Ian newton from Morning Juice about their concerns.
