From Soldier to Beekeeper

Posted on: Mon 20 Nov 2017

In a fascinating interview, 24 year career Army Officer Crispin Boxhall who served in the war zones of Iraq and Bosnia… tells us how he turned to a more leisurely life as an Apiarist in a picturesque region of the Adelaide hills.   It’s been a significant career shift, and Crispin now produces honey and teaches beekeeping from his property at Petwood near Nairne.  Hard work? Low income?  Yes…  but worth it.  Crispin divulges many interesting things about our bees, and also tells us one simple thing that metropolitan householders can do to help save our bees!
