100 years ago, on this day, in 1917, Women in New York won the right to vote. The state of New York was the 15th state to change their constitution.

Meanwhile, on this day in 1975, the Sex Pistols played their first gig at St. Martins College of Art, supporting pub rock band, Bazooka Joe.

Finally, on this day on 2005, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire premiered in London. It become the most successful film of the year after making $900,000,000.
