Revival of the Energy Debate

The Federal Government are planning a new energy policy, but The Australian Energy Market Operator has claimed that household energy prices could skyrocket in the near future, as more and more coal-fired power stations switch off around the country.
This has reopened the debate about energy policies in Canberra. Independent journalist Ben Eltham from New Matilda joined Jennie Lenman in the studio to discuss this and more federal politics.
