Asylum Seekers Stranded By Federal Government

The Federal Government will soon be removing support for over 100 asylum seekers who were moved to Australia for medical assistance.Many of these people were receiving medical support as a result of incidents occurring while in offshore detention.

Mohammad Al-Khafaji, CEO of Welcome to Australia, joined Jennie Lenman in studio to discuss this situation and what can be done. 

“this has brought the charities, the communities together from all walks of life and we’re actually working together to look after these people” Mohammad Al-Khafaji speaking on how he still has hope for the affected asylum seekers.
