Making Entertainment ‘On The Fly’: Improv Theatre in Adelaide

Posted on: Sat 12 Aug 2017

Claire Bottrall and Dane McFarlane joined Lisa in the studio to discuss Adelaide’s improvisational theatre scene including On The Fly Theatre.

Offering workshops, classes, open mics and productions galore, On The Fly is a local company aiming to engage with Adelaide audiences and create a community involved in the rollercoaster of emotions that is improv.

Dane & Claire will both be appearing in the company’s latest offering, Gorilla Theatre showing at the Bakehouse Theatre Thursday 17th, 24th & 31st August at 7:30pm. A format involving audience suggestions, five directors, a terrified ensemble and a gorilla hungry for bananas. Intrigued? You can head to the Facebook event page, Bakehouse Theatre website or Trybooking for more info and to book tickets.

You can also head to On The Fly’s website and Facebook page to keep up to speed with the various projects/workshops on offer.
