The Last Great Australian Adventurer

In 1948 a man named Ben Carlin set out from New York City in an amphibious jeep in an attempt to circumnavigate the globe.

His world record still stands, but his story was seemingly forgotten until writer Gordon Bass found his own connection to adventurer Ben Carlin. He talked to Breakfast about his discovery.
