Indigenous Injustice In The Judicial System

The death of Elijah Doughty has sparked protest all around the country. The entire Aboriginal community has been devastated and angry over the death of Elijah and leniency of the sentence. This is seen as another example of injustice in the treatment of Aboriginal people

The man who killed Elijah has been sentenced to three years jail and is ‘eligible for parole’. The man may be able to get out of jail as early as February next year.
