Systemic Abuse in NZ State Care

New Zealand has been rocked this week, following the release of report by the Human Rights Commission detailing the shocking and systemic mistreatment of people with intellectual disabilities from 1950s-1980s.
From being denied water to experimentation with LSD, the details of this report has created a chorus of cries for a full investigation into these matters.
