BBV prevention plan launches in SA prisons

A new plan to reduce the impact of Blood Borne Viruses in South Australian prisons and within the broader community has been launched.
The South Australian Prisoner Blood Borne Virus Prevention Plan 2017-2020 is a joint initiative of the Department for Health and Ageing, and the Department for Correctional Services.
The announcement comes in the lead up to World Hepatitis Day on Friday, 28 July 2017.
Hepatitis SA Educator, Shannon Wright, and Education Coordinator, Tess Opie, joined Small Change’s Lisa Burns for a chat about the new initiative.
