Adani and the Coalmine

The board of Adani have given approval to the development of the Carmichael Mine in Queensland. This is despite not yet securing the funding required to build the mine or the subsidiesed loan courtesy of the Federal Government to get the coal to the port at Point Abbot. Controversy also surrounds their development application that does not include the extraction of coal. To find out more Ian Newton spoke to Nikola Casule from Greenpeace Australia Pacific.
