The 12th of July in 1902 was one of Australia’s earliest beginnings for a move towards gender equality, the Australian Parliament agreed to female suffrage. In 1971, the Australian Aboriginal flag was flown for the first time and in 1962, the Rolling Stones had their first ever show.
