Farmers’ fight for climate change

Posted on: Wed 5 Jul 2017

“Farmers right across Australia are battling mines in their backyards, where farmers are left alone to be bullied by these mines,” says CEO of Farmers for Climate Action, Verity Morgan Schmidt.

The Farmers for Climate Action group is growing each week with around 3,500 members who have joined the fight.

She spoke to Jennie Lenman about their fight against Adani’s giant Carmichael coal mine.
