Return Unwanted Medicines

Each year, over 5,000 children end up in hospitals due to medicinal poisonings in Australia.

A new Federal Government-funded initiative Return Unwanted Medicines aims to reduce this number by educating people on a) how to correctly dispose of old or expired medicines and b) why it’s important to do so.

Local Pharmacist Greg Scarlett joined Jennie Lenman in studio to share some tips.
