This day in history marked the day the catalyst for World War 1 occurred. Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophia were assassinated in 1914 in Sarajevo. In 1840, a theory that tomatoes were thought to be poisonous was disproved and the Saxophone was patented by Antoine Joseph Sax in 1846.
